The great
part of this Brazilian is that it makes both a nice cup of coffee but
also a great single origin decaf espresso. Our normal roast is a medium
roast that highlights the milk chocolate and nutty flavor.
Mountain Water Process Decaf is a process that has become more popular since about 2001. Swiss Water Decaf for years has been the gold standard of decafinating processes. However, this coffee is decaffinated using water from the Pico de Orizaba mountain in Mexico. They use a similar process to Swiss Water Process. However, we've seen that the result of SWP is often a "flat" tasting coffee. The Mountain Water Processing still keeps the robust, well rounded flavor of the coffee.
